<p>Hi everyone, I’m thinking about dropping an upper divison elective which is not required for my major. If I drop the course, I will be only taking 10 units this quarter. Will I have any danger of getting academic probation.(I know it might affect my financial aid). I heard that UCLA students have to complete 36 units within one academic year. So since I begin in fall, will that include credits earned in summer 2010 as well? . Also, will dropping this course affect my current on-campus resident status? Thanks.</p>
<p>P.S I’m a junior who recently transferred in with 121 units of credit.</p>
