<p>Hey guys I was wondering if I were to drop one of my major pre reqs for a W and take it in the Spring, do i have to alert the UC’s that I applied to? Will being part time (falling below the 12 units) hurt me in any way? Thanks in advance</p>

<p>I highly recommend that you take the time to contact each campus about dropping the class, especially because it is a major prep requirement.</p>
<p>And, as far as I know it technically doesn’t (shouldn’t) hurt your chances of acceptance if you are under 12 units but if you are applying to any scholarships it might hurt you there.</p>
