Hi. Up until recently, I was set on attending UCSD starting this fall quarter a freshman. However, due to complications with financial aid, it has become economically unfeasible for me to do so. Instead I plan on attending a local community college for two years before transferring to a university, perhaps another UC.

I have already registered for 12 units of classes at UCSD, and I plan to drop them. Who should I inform at UCSD about my decision on not attending this fall?

You should really try other payment methods or even talk to the FINAID people at UCSD about options.

But if you are really intent on leaving, there is a link on the tritonlink website that gives instructions on taking back your intent to enroll.

Under Academic Forms, (after you log in) it will say withdrawal (undergrads)

That's what you're looking for.

I really hope you can find another method of payments. And I wish you the best of luck.

Yeah, what coolguy said is right. If you just call up the financial aid office (which you may have already done) and talk to someone high up there, they may help you out.

Thank you guys for the info. I haven't called the office yet, but I did send an email requesting an appointment to meet with a representative at the office. They have yet to call or reply, so I think I will call their office as well.
