Dropping pre-req

Ugggh I just got back my discrete math test and my first test was a 50 I still have 3 more test and its based off 20-25-25-30 grading. Ill stick around for the next two test to see if I can pull a b or c. This worries me since if I would of just taken calc2 and physics without petitioning into discrete I think it would of been better than attempting discrete and maybe having to withdraw. I’m contacting the school tomorrow about it. But does anyone have any insight on this.

Study your ass off? I mean what do you want us to tell you? You know full well that failing or withdrawing from a major prereq are unacceptable outcomes. Right now you could still get a 90% grade overall, if you ace every other test.

Withdrawing from a major prereq can straight up disqualify you for the top tier schools. And a failing grade will do the same. Just apply yourself from here on out.
