Dropping w/out F, Chem6A, Math20A

soo…i know this is late, but i hadnt really thought about getting Fs? haha. uhm, but for my chem6a (czworkowskinwiinfew) and math20a (eggers) idk if i wouldnt be getting an F?

my tests were like… 50% range in both classes (in comparison to the highest grade i could get on the individual tests–i think eggers curves final grade and czworksjnrekj im not sure).

so, im not sure if i should so anything about this dropping w/out an F thing. i feel like i could be over worrying (or maybe hoping), but considering my scores im not so sure?

oh and another stupid question, i cant move onto the next course (B) in the series without passing the first (A), right?

The best way is to talk to your professor since we have no clue what your scores are. And yes, you need to pass the class before you move on.

You have the rest of the day to decide. Go out and talk to them

You may want to switch majors. Czworkowski’s chem6A is a joke compared to 6B and 6C. It’s not going to be easy for you unless you really change your lifestyle for those classes.

If you struggle in an Eggers class, you’re going to have to work much harder in the future.
His lecture is top notch and his tests are very easy compared to many of the other math professors at UCSD. I had him for 20E and I knew more than a couple people that went into the final having not missed a single point on any midterm. His final was very basic as well.

You can do it though. Just find a more productive way to study. Do you read the chapter before the lecture? Do you do the homework before the discussion section? If you have a question do you go to office hours or the calculus lab? There are lots of resources out there to help you understand the material. You really have to take advantage of them.
