Drowning in Paperwork

Is anyone else drowning in all the paper work required for Harvard? Is there anywhere where I can get a list of exactly what is required - I have the online list on myharvard.edu but I also want one which includes thing like medical records and Financial aid information. Anyone? Thank you in advance

You will have to make out your own list, and keep up with both the online reqs and hard copy requests. I’d suggest buying a large accordian file, organize it by topic (FA, medical, housing, etc.) and write a timeline on a sheet attached to the front of the file.

This is a good time to organize and practice staying on top of everything college will require. (Harvard doesn’t really spoonfeed it’s students with an ongoing list.)

An old quote, still relevant, about the college reads: “Mother Harvard does not coddle her young.”

The Freshman Dean’s Office has a great list/timeline on their site.

if this is difficult for you, just imagine what harvard work will be like. get on top of it.

^ ik lol!
The acceptance letter package came with a nice summer to-do list where you check off each item, due dates included. Its on the admitted students website also

“…the best and the brightest…”

The website does have a checklist, just print it out and follow it

As stated above, the Freshman Deans office sends a nice folder with a checklist on the back page. Not too difficult to follow. Maybe you are feeling overwhelmed from the end of the school year, finals and graduation. Relax and enjoy your summer

So I think you guys are being unnecessarily harsh (there definitely is an onslaught of paperwork!). But figuring out an organizational system for yourself is a huge thing you need to do, if you haven’t already. Hopefully that’s Harvard’s intent in sending all sorts of crazy forms to you haphazardly.

Not harsh at all. Just suggesting why you might be feeling overwhelmed. Enjoy your summer without thinking of college applications and have fun this summer, that’s all :)
