<p>Someone told me that USF randomly has drug dogs run through campus parking lots and even around residential housing?</p>
<p>Is this true? I have never heard of a college doing this, it just seems like it would create an awkward feel.</p>
<p>In the nearly 3 years I’ve been at USF I’ve never seen cops walking around campus anywhere with drug sniffing dogs. There are plenty of parking lot security guys though in the parking lots giving out tickets for illegal parking and/or improper parking permits. USF does have its own armed campus police force, USFPD!</p>
<p>Thanks. I didn’t think they would do that. I knew that had a PD but not a k9 unit, that seemed a but over the top.</p>
