Drugs at NU?

<p>So I’m a jerk, and wanted people to tell me my chances here… but I am interested in knowing what the drug scene is like at NU. I don’t do any drugs, but you know. I don’t want it to feel like BJU either. Nor do I want to feel like I’m at a grateful dead concert for a few months.</p>

<p>I was just in chicago this past week, so I decided to visit NU and the other high-ranked college in town… really didn’t like the other one, but I loved NU. What a beautiful campus. What a beautiful student body :). Oh, and the view from the “beach” is amazing! What a fantastic cityscape…</p>

<p>your stats look good…and I do love the “beach” here…its beautiful to be able to see the city from the lakefill</p>

<p>as far as drugs…if you want them, you can get them with the right connections…but you will not be surrounded by drugs all the time. you’ll run into them every now and then, but it’s definitely not a big deal</p>

<p>Yeah, there definitely isn’t a very visible drug scene on campus. Don’t worry about it. I’m glad you enjoyed your visit. :-D</p>

<p>Your stats look nice… I don’t know what else to say to these chances posts. I guess it’s a lot about crafting your essay too, make it say things that you can’t read just from your stats - i.e, don’t relist everything, just focus on one strong passion that you’ve had and stuff.</p>
