DSL internet SPEED help.

<p>Hi, I used to have the 386kb to 1.5 mb DSL. the actual maximum download speed is about 180kb/sec, and the upload is about 30kb/sec. I’m upgrading it to 1.5mb to 3.0 mb DSL. anyone knows the maximum download/upload speed?</p>

<p>I think you may be confusing kb/sec and kB/sec. (b=bits and B=bytes). 180 kB/sec is approx 1.5 mb/sec.</p>

<p>So that 3.0 mb/sec DSL will supply about 375 kB/sec maximum download speed.</p>
