Agree entirely. It’s an interesting, perhaps even bold, new approach. The proof of the pudding will be in the eating. That offer to complete your bachelor’s for free is very enticing, considering the debt many leave college with. It is not just a problem in the US, but also in the UK and where I am in Australia.
I heard the same about Simons Rock. One was you can nearly smell the weed when you visit. If I remember correctly over 50% left after they got their associates. I tend to look on Simons Rock as a more expensive Running Start program where you can stay on if you wish to complete your bachelors.
NewU as a whole (not just the early college) seems to be presenting affordability as a major part of their pitch.
