When applying to more selective schools, does it look bad to have dual-credit courses from community courses on your transcript (since they tend to be easy)? Would it be better to have a few AP scores than a bunch of dual-credit classes. Our son is homeschooled, so it’s easy to do dual-credit courses, but it’s a pain to do AP.

Would you ever take a dual-credit course at a comm. college then take the AP exam?

I myself have already taken two APs (Calculus AB and Biology) and I plan on taking two next year (Chemistry and USH). However, I also plan on taking math and science (Physics) at the local university, as well.
