Dual Degree Program || Deciding Factor || Hofstra

Hello! I was wondering if anybody had some relevant and basic information about this program, specifically the one from Hofstra university. I was accepted into the university but when it comes to the program itself it says:

“On your admission application, you indicated an interest in one of our dual-degree programs (e.g., Five-Year Physician Assistant Studies Program, 4+4 BA-BS/MD Profram, the Legal Education Accelerated Program or all other Five-Year Programs). Your offer of admission to the University does not constitute admission to a dual-degree program. You will receive supplemental information regarding the program.”

I’m generally very patient but considering the fact that May 1st is closer and closer I was hoping someone could shed some light onto that whole process. From what I understand current Hofstra students can always apply for the program but incoming freshman can also do a direct application (which is what I did, I’m assuming).

Any little detail, no matter how general, is helpful. I’d love to complete a dual degree in Linguistics/Forensic Linguistics so this is a huge deciding factor when it comes to attending Hofstra.
