Dual Degree programs

Does Rice and UT Austin have a dual degree program for undergrads? what about for grad students?

Any responses?

Did you know google works?

@Erin’s Dad yes obviously. I already did my search, but it was only for a public health program which is a grad program which I am not interested in and something that would not pertain so much to my field of study. I was wanting to see if anyone else had further feedback.

So you saw this? https://gradschool.utexas.edu/dual-degree-programs Since you asked about grad programs.

And you saw this? https://liberalarts.utexas.edu/student-affairs/Majors-and-Degrees/Dual-Degrees.php

And this for Rice? http://oaa.rice.edu/dual-degreedouble-major-2/

And of course there is the best way to find out. To call the schools and ask them the question. Then you can let other people know the particulars. Good luck

@Erin’s Dad I have called the office of admissions of both schools and they said that they weren’t sure. I apologize but I meant to have said if anyone knew anything about a joint-degree program between the two schools and not a dual degree program. That’s what I was having trouble with. I don’t need help with the dual degree part.

@“Erin’s Dad” is there anyway I can change the title of my discussion?

grad students are admitted to individual degree programs, studying only that one area.
Some very capable[ and wealthy] grad students enroll in both Law and Business School programs at the same time, or Medical school/Phd programs, but they are the rare exceptions

^ yes, personally though depends on the schools i know suffolk, northeastern and bc, have dual degrees in law and business but you do have to apply to both separately, but they did tell me the tuition is not twice the amount.
