Dual Enrollment courses [in UC GPA recalculation]

As per UC, one semester of community college course will satisfy one year of an A-G subject requirement. But a DE community college course gives 1 grade. Do UCs account for 1 grade only for the DE course in GPA calculations?

I think that AP/Honors will give 2 grades and have more chances of boosting GPA than a DE course which gives 1 grade only. Just wanted to confirm.

Thanks.

For UC GPA recalculation, “One college course = one grade = one honors point” according to GPA requirement | UC Admissions

Note that this is different from CSU, which counts a one semester college course as two grades for GPA recalculation.

For further information although the question is about UC’s and DE classes, the CSU’s only give 1 Honors points even though the DE courses are reported with 2 grades.
