Hi - My HS sophmore’s physics class next year is a dual-enrollment class with Syracuse U. Is anyone familiar with this type of class and is it helpful for college admissions? Thanks…

It might depend on which Syracuse physics course it actually is. Universities often have several physics courses, such as:

“for scientists and engineers” – calculus / multivariable calculus based (there may also be an honors version of this physics sequence)

“for biology majors” – may use “light” calculus

non-majors’ course – minimal math
