Dual enrollment vs SSTP

I need an advice on this tantalizing situation. I am a junior and signed up for three classes of dual enrollment in the local community college during this summer for which I can get 9 college credits.

But at the same time, I also applied for SSTP, a research program of University of Florida and I am confident that I will get it. If admitted I will be able to get 6 college credits for that research program. I can not attend both as these two happen at the same time. Also, the cost factor wise, SSTP costs around $4000 where as dual enrollment costs nothing.

It will be really great if you advise whaich one to prefer and why?

I wouldn’t pay for a research experience, especially when there are low-cost alternatives. I don’t know if this research experience would help in your future career as things that you are applying to would presumably know that it is a paid research experience.

adding to my thread…

between these two, SSTP and DUAL enrollment, one which one looks good on the resume for college admissions?

Can I ask which one you chose?
