The followers of Gothard think the wife should always be available sexually to their husbands. They will probably blame Anna for not being a good enough wife.
Jared’s wife is his second. The first marriage was for 7 years. Can’t wait for that interview. Current wife has a college education and their children are 1 and 3. He is worth $14 million. She has options.
Anna has a high school level home school education. She has never held a job. She has a newborn and three other young children. The couple probably has few assets as only Jim Bob received a paycheck from TV and the home they live in belongs to his grandmother. I’d say she has few options. I do fell sorry for her.
I hope the feds go after all those Ashley Madison users with .gov addresses. They are guilty of theft of services. At the very least they should lose any security clearances they may have had. The idea that they felt comfortable using their government email accounts does not speak well for our national security.
I am not sure how I feel about the release of all those names – clearly these were people doing things they should not have been doing – but is committing adultery a crime? I am thinking that using government computers for this sort of thing is illegal, but how about all the rest of those that signed up? Why does the public have any right to know about an online service that someone decided to purchase?
Just one correction - they own their home in Arkansas. It was a foreclosure they bought in January for around $50,000. My guess is they intended to fix it up over time - but when he had to resign from DC job in May - they moved back to Arkansas earlier than expected.
The home owned by the grandmother was their residence prior to moving to the DC area. The last season of the show had the Duggars remodeling the small house (2br 1ba) and Jessa and Ben moving into it after their wedding.
I imagine Josh had a decent salary during his employment with the Family Research Council. Of course, he is pretty much unemployable now. Before the most recent scandal - he had been unemployed since May. Cannot imagine who would hire him now - certainly not any conservative political campaign or policy organization.

Maybe he’ll go back to selling cars - that’s what he did a while back. 
The guesses are around 100k for FRC job. He may have held some responsibilities, but was basically a spokesmodel. He can go back to his used car business. He has no otherwise marketable skills and the rep is shot. I believe he was paid for the tv show, as a separate household. Still, some sites that track net worth put his at 200k.The problem can be that those sorts of sites track public spending and the implications of debt one qualified for- and the Duggars don’t use conventional credit or debt.
Adultery is never actually prosecuted as far as I know. It is only relevant in a divorce proceeding.

Sadly, even if she wants to leave him I don’t she will get support of her family for such a decision. She would be left to her own resources to get out of the marriage with the kids. She will probably be brainwashed to stay with him. She doesn’t have any skills to make a living on her own and take care of 4 small kids. Horrible situation to be in.
Maybe Cody Brown from Sister Wives is in the market for another wife + 4 kids, though Anna would have to move to Vegas.
@harvestMoon1 you asked if it was illegal when wondering about the release of names and it clearly is in almost half the country so no mater if they are prosecuted or not, they still broke the law in those states. Many deadbeat dads aren’t prosecuted but their names are publicly released because they broke the law.
According to the TOS of that site, they do not assure user privacy, if people were dumb enough to sign up for this online service without understanding that their privacy was not guaranteed that’s their problem. Those that are using government email addresses are clearly breaking the law and I’m sure many private businesses will have issues with their employees using their work email for non business related “meetings”
Just a couple of thoughts. Did Michelle’s voice alter from her abnormal baby voice when she found all this out? Did Jim Bob lose it and his coiffed hair get tussled for once? Or did they just have a nice prayer circle and deem the devil made Josh do it? Did they pray the demon in Josh away? And my only serious comment, how many people are going believe their hogwash anymore.
