<p>If admissions truly finished making decisions already, it seems cruel to make us wait.</p>
<p>they told me today… and i had asked them yesterday and they didn’t know so I am assuming they found out today</p>

<p>They may have been told that, but maybe Guttentag just didn’t want to get anyone’s hopes up by leaking an earlier decision date. I would still check your email :)</p>

<p>I set up an email alert thing on my cell phone so whenever I get an email from Duke, I get a text message. My phone will not leave my side until I’ve gotten that email. I’m so nervous/excited/frightened!!

<p>Yeah I live in their time zone, and as 6 rolled by i got really disappointed.</p>
<p>For some reason I thought I had heard that the email could come as late as 7:30…but I don’t want to get everyone’s hopes up. Does anybody know a current Duke student that they could ask?</p>

<p>I’m pretty sure the site does undergo maintenance like twice a week and is unavailable for a fixed period of hours. They have the times listed somewhere, I just forgot. It’s possible this has nothing to do with our decisions at all.</p>
<p>Then again, it very well could, so let the speculation begin.</p>
<p>I’ve been checking the website for the past couple of weeks and its been continuously down for maintenance. 
I don’t think it means anything that its still down.</p>
