<p>hah wow I feel like all my friends are really dumb now. Only three people in my school are seriously considering top schools. I applied ED to duke, my best friend applied EA to Notre Dame, and another girl wants to go to University of Chicago. Tuesday cant come soon enough</p>
<p>^^^ Just letting you know. Some people don’t share what schools they’re applying to with their classmates. For all you know they could be applying ED to Duke also.</p>
<p>In my case, most people in my school don’t even know that I’m CONSIDERING American schools.</p>
<p>There’s one kid at my school who’s applying to MIT, but that’s really the only “top school” choice I’ve heard so far. No one else is applying Duke ED, and I’m pretty sure that very few, if ANY, are applying ED. That’s just not the way my school rolls.</p>
<p>Yeah, Im not sure about who at my school is considering top schools. I just found out a few days ago about one other Duke EDer, but besides that I havent really heard of anyone that went early to the top schools. Im sure there are quite a few though.</p>

<p>In response to all of the tab issues, I truly do not think that it’s significant of your admission status. I asked all of the other applicants from my high school (there are five of us in total), and all of use seem to have the tab. Duke traditionally takes two to five students ED from my high school, and one of the students is a legacy, so I honestly do not believe there is significance to the issue. Rather, I believe that it’s just a server mistake. I have actually refreshed the page numerous times, and one of those times the tab was missing, but it was present all of the other times.</p>
<p>I’m beyond excited to hear back from Duke on Tuesday night at 6PM EST! All of my friends got in to Columbia, Cornell, and WashU today, so I NEED TO KNOW hahaha. It really sucks that we have not yet heard, but at least we’re not hearing on the 15th? One day sounds stupid, but it definitely will make a difference for all of us with the date being so close.</p>

<p>Nosike: Yeah, i understand a lot of people do not discuss their college applications, but i go to a school with 38 people in my grade, im pretty sure id know and they would say haha its not like im un a huge school where i dont know everyone</p>
