Duke 2015 ED applicants

im from new jerseeey! for the person who asked like 60 posts ago -.-
but anyways, we are so close. im really nervous. DSFJ

<45 hours! the proximity of decisions is truly unreal. I’m trying to stay as busy as possible to distract myself. How many of you will be at the computer before 6 just waiting to click Login? :)

Oh, welovefood, that was me! What county are you from? I’m from essex

Wait, this thread makes me think that all 2000 Duke ED are CCer

@hgblue

Me! I get out of school at 2 instead of 3:30 since I have an online class, so I’m gonna have to restrain myself from obsessively checking my computer, as if anything would happen early! X]
1 day and 20.5 hours. This is surreal.

Wow, I also assumed that that guy goes to Thomas Jefferson seeing those amazing stats and that the school is pretty clearly in Virginia. I’m pretty sure that if I go to Duke, that will be the best college anyone in the history of my school has gone to.

^Somebody in our school has gotten into Princeton.

I actually wish I went to a more competitive school, it can be difficult to get excited about stuff when nobody else is. #1 thing I’m most looking forward to about college :slight_smile:
Let’s hope the CC admit rate is as skewed as it usually is…

@hgblue :slight_smile:
middlesex! ahh hope we get in tues omgomg.

sooo many people apply from long island alone…
btw duke got 2,282 applicants this year
but imagine, penn got like 4,500!!

this is actually so stressful, so many people applied from socal! gr! i cannot wait any longer this is horrible.

so the dilemma is…i COULDDDD go to swim practice from 3-5 (PST) and log on and hear my decision 2.5 hours after the fact…ORRRRR just skip practice and click the refresh button like a psycho…oh the choices of life. =)

haha i purposely made plans for tuesday after school so i dont have time to go crazy thinking about it

I have a basketball game and will be home after the release of decisions as well. It might actually be better to be busy and see your decision later, because I know for me at least, if I were home I would be freaking out, sitting at the computer the time came!

1 day and 19 hours left…

I need a distraction!

Ahhhh. Freak out. D:

Ah, I just keep obsessively checking my phone. I downloaded a countdown widget for my Droid homescreen that counts down the days/hours/minutes/seconds until Tuesday at 6pm. 1 day, 19 hours, 9 minutes, 12 seconds. o.O Probably not the healthiest thing I’ve ever done, but I just can’t help it! Hahah, ahhhhh.

I keep checking my application checklist. I’m not sure what I’m hoping to see. I think in the back of my mind I’m hoping that someone will accidently post our decisions early and I’ll be there to catch it before they get taken back down. Crazier things have happened, right?

Also, I will be on my computer from the time I get home from school until the decisions are posted. The wait is going to be awful, but I’d rather know as soon as possible.

To prevent another freak-out, I decided to download an insane amount of christmas music to distract me…at least I’m in the spirit. But now that I’m done…I am freaking out to a christmas soundtrack…hm that didn’t work very well.
