@Fiscus is my new BFF sorry everyone else.

@coIIege YESSSS. I am truly honored. If we both get in, you are getting the biggest internet high-five of your life.

@dke2011

I think I am a fairly competitive applicant, since I’ve had a brother and a sister both attend Duke and my high school generally sends about 20-30 students to Duke each year. However, as others above said, I think it is just something for legal obligations, but we will see. It definitely can’t be a bad sign if they asked for it!

@shockazulu that was awesome syllogistic reasoning, i also wish you are right.
ahaha.

i think everyone here needs some xanax…

does anyone know where the decision will be when we log in? like under a tab? because i would be the one to not find it for like an hour hahaha

@buntyugo…uh where do you go to school? That’s ridiculous/hard to believe

@Pikachu

No idea, since this is the first time Duke is using this decision method. It is usually on a different site. However, I don’t think they would make it too difficult to find…it will probably be pretty obvious once you log in.

We sent 17 to Duke, but it has been more in the past, and certainly more get in than those 17.

You’re school is actually insane. What school do you attend?

what kind of high school do you go to? a bionic one? seriously?

Well, I went ahead and filled out my decision thread stats (everything other than the decision). It gave me something to do and will hopefully make it less biased.

Besides, I know I won’t want to fill it out once I know the decision. I’ll either be too excited or too depressed.

Geez! In mine and lrose2011’s school, it’s an accomplishment for a lot of kids to go to the local community college.
We were so proud when we sent one kid to UNC-Chapel Hill on the Morehead-Cain scholarship!
Your high school is crazy.

My school is lucky to send 10 kids to top 50 universities on the USNWR rankings

…wow…

@dke2011, something similar happened to me. I got a call about not turning in some financial aid stuff and they prompted for me to turn it in asap. I don’t know what that means, but I’m trying not to have my hopes up.

Honestly, I do not think they would do ANYTHING that would give any indication upon comparison that someone is in or not…

Yeah, I don’t think so either. He kept on reminding me that they haven’t finalized any decisions yet. Oh well.

^ i have to say, i agree with that statement.
