Duke Chances for Regular Decision (I didn't do early)

<p>I would love to be a Blue Devil at Trinity College at Duke University. If I applied regular decision, what do you think my chances would be to get into Duke? Are they slim, fair, or strong? Here are my stats.</p>

<p>6th at Berkeley Tournament (Feb, 2007)- I received 6th Place in Impromptu speaking and semifinalist in Extemporaneous speaking at the UC Berkeley Speech and Debate Tournament.</p>

<p>6th Place at State (Speech) (Apr, 2007) I received 6th place at the California state championships for Impromptu speaking.</p>

<p>National Merit Semifinalist (May, 2007)- 221 on PSAT (going for finalist).</p>

<p>Forensics Superior Distinction (Jul, 2007)- I have earned over 750 national forensics points (speech and debate), receiving an award for “Superior Distinction” from the National Forensic League.</p>

<p>Karl E. Mundt Medal “Jun, 2007”- I was a semifinalist (top 40) at the speech and debate Nationals in student congress out of over 400 competitors.</p>

<p>The Tech Museum of Innovation 10th 11th - I have over 50 hours of community service hours at the Tech Museum as both an Engineering Exhibit explainer and Life Tech Exhibit explainer.</p>

<p>YMCA Redwoods Camp Campbell 12th - Camp Campbell is a nature/science camp for 5th and 6th graders, and I was a cabin leader there in charge of 7 students</p>

<p>Could you guys post my chances?</p>

<p>I was accepted early with fairly similar stats… The only thing Duke may comment on is your placement in your class… They really want you to be in the top 10%, to be in the running(top 5% is preferable to them). So I guess just continue to get good grades:)</p>

<p>They would count 40/398 as top 10 % right?
It is actually 10.05%, so does that really go under 10-20%, or can i list myself as top 10%?</p>
