Does everyone else have Duke as an institution requesting documents on their IDOC portal?
Hey guys, so Brown’s financial aid portal is teasing out acceptance and rejections based on them requesting or not requesting each of your individual forms from College Board.
So I checked Duke’s financial aid portal and it seems they only bothered requesting half of my forms. I’d bet $ this means I was rejected. You guys might want to check to see if they bothered requesting (“completed”) all your forms (good) or just the CSS and FAFSA (bad) or just half (bad).

I was not asked for any additional financial information from Duke but recieved a BSAI invite and likely letter… Y’all have GOT to chill out here and stop looking too much into things
@Pastpower What about your financial aid checklist at applicants.siss.duke.edu? I bet every item of yours is a green checkmark with status “Completed”?
There’s no chance I’m admitted and they didn’t bother pulling the other half of my items from College Board. Zero chance.
Also, if they pulled your docs on a random date, i.e. not 2/1 or 2/15, that’s a very favorable sign.
@lizzy1234 purely for curiousity (bc I don’t have them) what are the other forms they would request?
@lizzy1234 do you know how to see when they pulled the docs? there’s no deadline or anything next to duke’s name as one of the institutions requesting documents
also, does the checkmarks on the checklist on duke’s website for financial aid docs mean a good thing?
the forms I have on duke’s financial aid portal are: css, fafsa, parent federal tax return, parents w2, and student non filer form – anyone else?
@heretoparty98 I have the same forms marked as completed, but mine have said that since mid February so I doubt it has anything to do with admission.
Can someone please explain the LSRW admission status? My daughter just received the invitation on Monday 3/26, yet it states the possibility (rare) of not being admitted. How much can her candidacy change by Thursday 3/29? Do we celebrate admission yet? Does that only apply to students who were invited much earlier?
If she received an invite, the only way she could be rejected is if she killed someone or committed some sort of crime between then and decision day

@unknown2022 I’m also Latino and high stats- no LSRW invite- Duke requested IDOC and all financial aid checked green- but yeah, obviously not too confident without the LSRW- love to know if any Latinos from previous class were accepted without a LSRW invite
By the way, @lizzy1234, they might pull your docs at random dates but they only list deadlines- not the date they requested them. So the only dates you see are deadlines.
