One quick thing, I’m an international student applying for aid- and my parents ’ earning statements are showing as incomplete. While I know there’s a massive probability of rejection through that fact alone, how likely do you think is the possibility that they simply got all the info they wanted through my CSS and Tax Returns?
Omg got into Dartmouth! At this point if I don’t get into duke I’ll be obviously disappointed but now it won’t be the end of the world

@lizzy1234 does IDOC include FAFSA? Because I have check marks on 4 of the 5 docs except FAFSA
My Duke portal shows checks on FAFSA, CSS, and 1065 Business Tax Return. Is this a pull from IDOC?
somehow got into brown and cornell with waitlists at princeton and harvard. suddenly, after the past three weeks of disappointment thought waitlists, i have hope for duke’s decision 
I’m still hoping for Duke bc I got rejected/waitlisted from all ivies. Still got into Vanderbilt, which would be awesome to go to, but I want to have options to compare.
Oh and for the IDOC thing, I didn’t get request for docs from Brown and rejected, HOWEVER Vandy didn’t request docs either, and I was accepted there. So not a perfect indicator.

Praying for duke after getting waitlisted at Cornell and rejected at Brown, Columbia, Penn, etc
It sucks that Duke fills alot of its class with early decision and some ppl can’t make that choice bc of family situations. Makes it that much harder to get in regular decision.
@ddmfddmf The fact that you’re so supportive, and in fact, everyone’s comments in this thread speak volumes about the class that Duke is going to have this fall. Regardless, I haven’t been active on this thread but stalked it long enough to realize that everyone will obviously have a place that they deserve

If you don’t see checkmarks next to all items (more than just CSS Profile & FAFSA) in Duke’s financial aid portal…AND nobody from Duke reached out to clean up missing items…rejection.
No, all checkmarks do not mean you’re 100% accepted. But unfulfilled checkmarks and no contact from Duke finaid in Feb/March means 100% rejected.
Two of the smartest boys at my school who were missing items received calls and emails from Duke last few weeks. One smart girl at my school is missing checkmarks and received zero contact from Duke. Safe to infer what’s going on, just as it was at Brown, Rice and Notre Dame.
