As much as I would like to say that these interviews are important, from everything I have been told, they are not. They are used to engage alumni and identify anything that may indicate not a good fit. So, they might have an impact on āruling outā a candidate out but have no real influence on acceptance.
I bet they look at interview reports for 1% of applicants.
Duke maybe more weight on Glimpse 90 second video (first hand to AO) than interview (second hand to AO)

INTERVIEWS
Alumni interviews are an optional component of the Duke application process. Due to the volume of applications to Duke, we regret we are unable to interview all applicants. The Admissions Office will prioritize interviews for students for whom we need additional information. Not being offered an interview does not affect your chances of admission. After students submit their applications, those offered an interview will be matched with alumni volunteers who will contact them via phone or email to arrange a virtual interview. Students may expect the interview to last 30-60 minutes. We do not offer on-campus interviews with admissions officers, nor can students request an interview.
Applicants are welcome to record a GLIMPSE video. Glimpse is an opportunity to share a 60-90 second video helping us to get to know you better. For more information about Glimpse please visit the Glimpse website HERE. Currently, Glimpse is only available for students attending high school in the United States. For consideration in the Duke Admissions Process, Glimpse videos must be submitted by November 6 for Early Decision and January 16 for Regular Decision.

What documents does your financial aid checklist show ?
Same as this, just went through a couple days agoā¦with a few more tax forms notedā¦but what is all the talk about financial checklist? Is it indicative of something?

I have no idea. Maybe someone trying to predict the portal? Our D24 was an ED deferral. during the ED process, we had messages to update some documents but nothing has changed in a very long time for us.

The image you posted, were those documents received at the time of the ED application? We are RD and the forms show just being cleared two days ago. Portal astrology is so funny. lol

Is there fafsa in checklist or no?
No, that screenshot is all thatās on the list. There are several general paragraphs below the checklist mentioning FAFSA info and giving contact info.
Yes ā everything in her portal (every tab) is the same as during the ED period. They havenāt requested or added anything since then.

Was it( fafsa) removed or wasnāt it there from first? I really wonder that some had no from first ,some had it but was removed later? Thank you. Fafsa is necessary.
I was trying to be helpful and answering questions not trying to say what anything means.
