FAFSA didnā€™t open up until after the ED deadline. They only used CSS at that time. Since then, we have completed FAFSA and added Duke to our list of schools to receive the report but that hasnā€™t been added to the list. Our FAFSA still shows as processing. I doubt the FAFSA will be added to our list until March (or whenever they resolve all the delays).

Yes, every college you apply to will have a space for final transcript in the portal. You only send it if you are admitted and attending (obviously).

If anyone know that financial portal says " please submit any outstanding items."

All is marked " recieved " so there is no missing items but i wonder what does outstanding mean?

Congratulations on your grand success!!! I think the acceptance letter is a mere formality now. Not every candidate is considered outstanding. Wow!!

My D received an email from a college (sorry, not Duke. Itā€™s an LAC whose thread is not visited by many people. So I choose this thread to post my question). That college asked her to submit FAFSA and CSS forms. My D did not submit the CSS form since when she was about to submit CSS, she realized that collegeā€™s FA deadline has passed. We do not remember whether she submitted FAFSA to that college or not. From her FAFSA portal, we cannot find the names of universities and colleges who received the FAFSA, and cannot add a college, even by following the instructions. Does anyone here knows how? Thank you!

My son just had a truly wonderful interview. He was contacted 30 minutes before the interview start time. We are grateful that he had such a good experience. :pray:

Fafsa is complicated this year. I would fill out the CSS Profile now if you are applying for financial aid. If a school uses CSS they will be able to figure out the financial aid with the info from the CSS. Supposedly you will be able to add new schools to the fafsa in March.

I submitted the CSS in Feb with parents tax documents, and my Duke FA portal shows ā€˜Foreign Fin Aid Appā€™. Because thatā€™s the only thing I have does it mean Iā€™m rejected?

Yes, multiple docs with update date of Feb 27th. Sumbitted CSS in Jan.
