Duke Class of 2029 Official Thread

Never mind. Just received this email. Sorry

As soon as I typed my question, my son sent me a screenshot of that email

Duke being the last off ALL decisions…

I think it might also depend on when the last update was made? Like if they stop updating it after a certain date, but others who are experiencing the same thing continue updating that could be mean a waitlist/reject later on in their review?

“Your Duke admission decision will be available online beginning at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Monday, March 31, 2025”

Got no updates
Most friends have waived tax returns

My assumption, waived = reject

should I contact the finaid office? Didnt get IDOC either (got it for other schools) and I had submitted fafsa (shows up for other schools) as well, albeit later in feb. I was deferred in the ed round

by any chance do you have ss of what waived looks like?

What if you didn’t apply for financial aid?

then i would assume none of this stuff rlly matters and just wait for monday

previous years, someone waived got acceptance.

Who?

this person posted whether waiving tax return would mean anything. then few weeks later got admitted on mar 31.

I just realized my tax return was waived. It was submitted to the IDOC at the correct time and it’s not like I have any odd circumstance, why is this?

this is what my checklist looks like

Received and recently updated definitely seems promising. I’m wondering if they just need more info for some and not for others and therefore download their tax forms for more info.

Do reply if this is an ACCEPT … that would be interesting!!

Does anyone else have their documents waived as well besides this person? Please reply, I would like to see what the ratio is.
