duke early(ier) decision

<p>so i got a snail mail letter today from duke saying i was one of a few “particularly outstanding applicants” and that they were letting me know a few days early that i got in.</p>

<p>as nice as this is, it seems a little strange. anyone else get this, have any idea more than i do about whats going on or more deets?</p>
