Iā€™m applying to Duke ED as an international applicant from one of the best schools in my country

Asking for 50% aid

It is not that you can ask for certain amount of aid. Have you checked their NPC? ED is binding and you should not apply RD if you do need to compare financial aid or do not have everything ready like your test score. This is most important for schools with high rejection rate.
