I’ve always wondered. In what order do admissions officers look at applicant files? Alphabetically? By school? Random?
I think they compare applicants within the school first… not sure though
And does anyone know how exactly we see the decisions? So I know we log in to our accounts, but do we click on the thing that says “Decision Group” to see a letter about it, or is the decision just there? I have always wondered this.
if I haven’t gotten an email that says when the release date for ED decisions are, is that a bad sign or should I not worry about it? I know everything is submitted but it just worries me that everyone seems to have gotten one and I haven’t 
SJ: have you gotten any email from Duke? Just go into the website and make sure it has the right email. Maybe check you spam or junk folders?

@HRSMom I’ve gotten confirmation that my application was submitted and I have an applicant ID account. I just checked and it has the right email from what I can see…I’m terrible with technology so maybe it just slipped by? The anticipation is making me crazy
So will the decision be under like the notifications?

I know that about 25%of the ED applicants get accepted…
@Gausssss 0%. However 18.8% got deferred last year. Of deferred applicants, 11% were accepted vs 9% of all Rd applicants.

@ImporTan Thanks! 18.8%… That is not a whole lot! It is suprising to know over 50% is getting rejected…
i am also wondering what the website is like when we check our results… Will there be something under the Notification part? Or we just login into the account and directly see that result letter…

Has any one else noticed right after you sign into your Duke applicant account, I swear there is a white box that says application result for about half a second and then goes back to My Application(s) status and quick links? Please tell me if I’m being crazy.
