Can someone post like the exact wording of this email that was sent out about results being released. My school’s aggressive-as-hell firewall prevented me from getting the email so right now I’m dependent on people relaying info secondhand. Thanks for the help.

I want to let you know that Early Decision applicants to Duke University may view their admissions decisions online beginning 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 10, 2015. Financial Aid decisions will also be available online for those whose applications were complete.
Since we deliver our decision letters to applicants, we expect that only the applicant will be checking his or her decision online. When you decide to check your decision online, we strongly encourage you to do so in the privacy of your own residence, not at school. We believe your decision is a private matter, and for many reasons we have found it is best for applicants to be away from friends and classmates when they check their decisions.
You can view your admission decision letter upon logging in to your application checklist. If you previously activated your account, you will log in here: https://applicants.siss.duke.edu
If you have not yet activated your application checklist, please check your email - including your “spam” and junk mail folders - for a message with the subject: Important Information about your Duke Application sent from siss-no-reply@duke.edu. This email will contain an applicant-specific URL you can use to activate your account.
If you are unable to locate the original email, visit idms.oit.duke.edu/applicants-self-barn-resend/ and request a new activation email.
If you do not have internet access on Thursday, we can provide your admissions decision by telephone beginning Friday, December 11, 2015.
If you have any technical questions, please direct them to the Duke Service Desk at (919) 684-2200 or email help@oit.duke.edu. Does anyone know what the screen would look like if you were to be accepted? Is it like UPenn where it turns into a video? Is it just a plain letter saying congrats? Is there a large graphic w/colors? Etc…

Duke today always posts how many early applicants they accept and what the percentage of the class ED acceptance s make up. At least we’ll have that to tide us over until the decisions are released at 5.

darn i didn’t know hobbies could count as extracurriculars. if i had known that i could have included a quality extracurricular that i’ve stuck with for years. i have a feeling not including that is going to really cost me admission into Duke : (

Freaking out, 21 hours
When there is sample of 10 people,
about 2.5 people will be accepted.
about 1.9 people will be deferred.
about 5.6 people will be rejected.
Will we make it?
It is hardest to get deferred by probability.

I don’t know if anyone else is like this, but I lied and said that results are coming the original date still (December 15th) 8->
I absolutely did not want any of my friends or ESPECIALLY my mom to know and be freaking out all day or making comments because then I’d be wayyy stressed. Plus I’m not fond of the “let’s sit around the student” happening and would rather be in private. As far as anyone knows tomorrow’s a normal day (: Except I did tell my dad, but he’s super chill lol
