Waiting would probably be more of a distraction than knowing. I guess it depends on the person.

Why do they have to make it at 7 p.m.? Why can’t it be like 12? Keep everybody’s anxiety level down. Unless thats what they’re going for.

Hello guys! Just wanted to step in from the Princeton thread and wish all of you guys good luck! I know how stressful it must be right now to wait for your fate for the next four years to be released. You guys will all do great, regardless of where you end up.
You guys should be proud of all the work you have put into your applications. The fact that you have applied to Duke is an enormous feat in the first place; it would only be Duke’s loss if any of you guys were not accepted.
In the end, it’s not the school you go to, but what you do during your college career that defines who you are. Duke may help to make this journey easier, but isn’t needed to complete it. The decisions have already been made; what is done is done. Be confident in your application, and know that you will be amazing no matter where you go.

Guys, it’ll be okay! Just make sure you’re sitting down when you get your decision. I got mine when I was standing at work and I dropped my phone. Also, you will open immediately to your decision letter. It auto refreshes, or at least on my phone it did.
Just remember this is one step!
They say getting in is the hardest part, but actually the work here is incredible, so keep up your work ethic and get excited!
