Does anyone know if internationals living in the USA have to send a copy of their passport to Duke? I’m just wondering because I’m applying to Ohio State, and they asked me for a copy of the front page of my passport.
@Mango920452 I’m not sure, but I think since there is no mention on website (or any kind on app) to let us send, we don’t need to worry about it.

If you don’t get an interview and opt to send an additional recommendation, do you send it in the mail?
Also I’m so nervous about decisions ever since I was a little girl going to Duke has been my dream. I’m definitely the only person applying ED at my school, and probably the only person applying ED in my county.
I called today and was told they will not be uploading the CSS profile until after Thanksgiving so don’t worry if it still shows incomplete.
I also sent everything in within the first week, even interviewed over a month ago and it’s still “incomplete”.

@FLWrestler123 how was the interview? I just got my opportunity to get an interview.
How does Duke treat disciplinary offenses such as suspension (for drug use, alcohol use/drunk at school events, fighting)? It doesn’t pertain to me but I’m curious as to how they actually view and handle applicants that have these sort of reports.
Are internationals interviewed by particular interviewers separating from all others?
@anxiousenior1 My interview was very casual but I actually knew the interviewer prior (just coincidence). I am a student athlete so not sure if my route is different than most in this aspect.

I just got home from my interview. It was super informal, guy was super nice and didn’t even take notes or anything. He asked some questions but it was mostly just a conversation, and then of course let me ask him questions about Duke.
I still have not been contacted for an interview. Do you have to have your application complete for them to contact you? My counselor has not submitted first quarter grades yet…
I’ve submitted everything but first quarter grades and was contacted for an interview. I don’t think they need every part of your application, just the Common App portion.
for those of you that have been contacted for an interview, when did you apply/ how soon after you applied did you hear?
@a1h313 I applied last Friday and I was contacted yesterday.
I applied on 10/30 and was contacted for an interview on 11/03, and just got home from said interview! hope that helps
