Duke is #1 !!!

My heart goes out to Lindsey Harding…she won’t get over this for a long time I’m sure.

I think the Lady Blue Devils are gonna be tough to deal with for years to come. Lindsey was a former Lady Bobcat star and I sure hope we don’t lose our current Lady Bobcat stars, the Ogwumike sisters, to Duke too. I’d rather see the O sisters became Lady Tar Heels! So far I hear Duke and Maryland are giving Nneka the rush right now though.

I, too, feel for Lindsey Harding. With all of the talent, experience, and composure these amazing young athletes have, it is easy to forget that they are, after all, just young college kids like all of ours. I can only imagine her deep disappointment on behalf of her incredible team and herself. Nothing more to do now but look forward to their very bright future!

On behalf of the Duke parents on this board,
DUKE, WE LOVE YOU!!!

How ironic that Rutgers pulled off the upset against the “State University of New Jersey, Durham.” ;-)

The pain will diminish over time, but I doubt that she will ever get over it. Bill Walton says he still gnashes his teeth over having lost to NC State in the NCAAs – a game that UCLA was supposed to win, and that was over 30 years ago.

What will be interesting to see is if Gayle Goestenkors makes a move to Texas. With all the 09, and even a few 08, commitments to Duke, it would be a wrench in the works if she takes off now.
