Duke Law School Scholarship

I was wondering, if Duke gave out full scholarships to its law school, because a family member had received a full scholarship to the school but turned it down for COlumbia’s law school?

Thanks

Scholarships
Duke Law School awards three-year scholarships on the basis of need and merit to entering law students only. There are no continuing academic performance requirements attached to the grant, relieving students of uncertainty about scholarship renewal.

Applicants for need-based scholarships must complete the Scholarship Form included in the admission material. In determining need, the law school considers all sources of income, including parents’ income and financial situation. Parental information is required when applying for need-based funds.

Some scholarship candidates are selected each year to receive special recognition as named scholars. No separate application is necessary; applicants are considered for these scholarships based on their Scholarship Forms.
