i was waitlisted at vandy, and rejected from hopkins and northwestern. odds don’t look too good for me lol.
My daughter got rejected last year from Duke, Vandy, and Northwestern. She was a National Merit Winner and 35 on ACT. She is at Un of Illinois now studying Aerospace Eng. She also got merit based money from Illinois. She loves Illinois. It was the perfect choice for her. Try not to be so worry about your decision. It will work out in the end.

i have 3 schools left today and I’m not really expecting to get into them but I’m excited to go to Northeastern so ig we’re chillin
I was rejected at Northwestern and Georgetown, but got into Carnegie Mellon so keeping a little hope. Duke is definitely one of my very top choices, probably my absolute top really.

DS deferred then rejected at MIT then waitlisted at Johns Hopkins. Accepted OOS to University of Virginia and Lehigh University so he has other great choices. Duke is his top pick though so we are hoping for good news today. Either way he will be good but I’d love for him to get in!!

The Class of 2024 had a Regular Decision acceptance rate of 6%, which is a slight increase from last year’s 5.7%. Duke considered 36,252 applications in Regular Decision, which included 35,483 Regular Decision applicants and 769 who were deferred from the Early Decision window.
