Does anyone know the past release dates for RD? or a prediction for when Duke will come out with RD decisions in 2020?
Also, does being offered an alumni interview mean they are strongly considering you for admission?
I have had this red check since submitting my application, so unfortunately I don’t think it means anything.
@Luc2020 According to previous threads last year was 3/28 and the year before was 3/29 at 7pm (last Thursday in March)
My son had an interview with a Duke rep earlier this week. This is his third interview (obviously the first two were with other schools) and was by far the longest and most comprehensive.

@luc2020 I don’t think an alumni interview means much of anything, but my D enjoyed it and used it as an opportunity to ask questions.
I saw someone say there was an application deadline if you wanted an interview. My daughter submitted her app on Jan. 1; can she still receive an interview request even though she missed the deadline?
the priority deadline was Dec 20
I had my interview today, and it was average, but my interviewer did not seem that interested in the interview, and just went through a mechanical set of questions. She also kept on dropping hints that I wasn’t a good fit for Duke, so anyways I’m ready for my rejection letter this spring.
My D had her alum interview recently. Cut short because the interviewer was running late. Bummer. But, I agree with the person that it probably has only minor influence on admission. I think only the extremes (good or bad) would be noticed by admissions. Am I right that anyone who met the 12/20 deadline could request an interview? This is not just for legacy folks, correct??

Has anyone received their Duke portal yet? I applied on December 25th and have yet to get my portal.
My daughter Got her portal within a couple of days of applying back in December.
@bayougal I didn’t get an email with mine so I clicked the forgot password link and was able to log in. The system somehow neglected to send me an email, which may have also happened to you.
I applied back in October and I have my interview on Saturday. I’m super nervous, any tips?
Does anyone know when they posted RD results last year?
I applied for financial aid as an international student, which is very limited at Duke. I read a thread that said Duke only admitted 20-25 international applicants with fin aid. Does this mean I could get admitted and not get fin aid? This wouldn’t necessarily be a problem. My parents just wanted to apply for fin aid in case something went wrong in the future.
I just had a Duke interview even though I submitted my application on 12/24. I also just found out I have an X next to the final transcript, and I don’t remember having it before (bc I would’ve noticed it)
@paigezz, this is because your school sent mid year report and now the only thing remaining is the final report. I also observed the same.
