duke reg decision sat subject tests

Good evening!
I feel like I MIGHT have a shot for Duke? (I’m instate)…with SAT about 2200 and perfect GPA w.7 APs taken…senior yr. 5 more, great life experience (am a first-generation college-immigrant whom interpret everything for my parents…taking care all the bill calls, etc…) and great working experiences ( from early age farm boy in China to summer of '10 passing ads on the 8th avenue of Brooklyn to managing a Chinese restaurant in North Carolina… also helped built a buffet in NC).

However,

I…I…over-procrastinated the SAT subject dates… (too much going on in life right now D:) and missed all the dates this year…
now I have sign up for November testing (taking sat in Oct. AGAIN), which meant I will be missing the Duke ED…

I want to concentrate 100% on Chemistry and ace it, so I decided to take Chinese as the second subject test.

Does it hurt my chance that I’m a native Chinese speaker and only taking the Chinese subject test in order to meet the requirement?
If I concentrate on Chemistry, then I will be 96.231% sure that I will have two 800 sat subject tests.

Duke mentions on it’s website that the last date for both SAT and SAT subject tests is Nov. 7 ED, so how would you miss it? Also, as long as your competitive in other areas, taking Chinese as a second subject test shouldn’t ruin your chances, but you should still look over it and see if there is any other subject you’re confident in. If you are planning to apply RD, you have until Jan. to take more tests.
