I sent Part I before December 1st so that I’d be offered an interview

I really would like one too. Is there anyway to get one? Should I call up the admissions office and ask them to set one up with a regional representative?

Go here: http://www.admissions.duke.edu/jump/applying/apply_interviews.asp

it says if you haven’t heard back from them by January 20th, then you should email them here: DukeAAAC@daa.duke.edu. and find out what’s up.

thanks for the quick response

It says:
“please e-mail the Alumni Affairs Office at DukeAAAC@daa.duke.edu. Write AAAC Interview in the subject line and include your full name as it appears on your application, whether you’re applying Early Decision or Regular Decision, and the city, state, and zip code where you’d like to be interviewed.”

Do i include ALL that in the subject line?

No, I think just AAAC Interview in the subject line, and the rest in the text. Or at least that’s what I gather from it.

Blame them for being vague ;)

I’m in the same boat, with no reply to the email either (sent on Tuesday). But I guess they got a lot of AAAC Interview emails.

Me too. I’ve sent three emails and still have no reply. I called today, and they sent me to a useless recorded message.

has anybody emailed DukeAAAC@daa.duke.edu and gotten a reply?

by now it is too late. I had an interview and the man interviewing me told me that he had to get the interview a week beofre Feb. because it had to be mailed on the first. Tough luck and best wishes!

" I had an interview and the man interviewing me told me that he had to get the interview a week beofre Feb. because it had to be mailed on the first."

It’s not too late. Interview reports are due Feb 15. I’m not sure why he told you it had to be mailed by the first – perhaps you are an international student? In any case, it’s all done online so there is no “mailing” involved.

Those of you who still want an interview and made the Dec 1 deadline should still try to see if you can get one – though granted it might be tough due to availability right now.

whitechocolate20 – your interviewer may have been just trying to get the interview report submitted within two weeks of your “application date” (which is not the same day you mailed it off). We try to get the reports written by that time so that the adcom can review the interview at the same time as the rest of your application, rather than later on.

i do not mean to misinform. I just repeat what I am told!

Regular decision interview reports are due in by Feb. 15th.

I just got contacted! So I’m guessing it’s not too late. Yay!
