<p>During the fiscal year that concluded on 30 June 2104, the University’s endowment increased to $7B – the greatest in Duke’s history – from $6B on 30 June 2013. Endowed funds are principally used to provide need-based scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate students. </p>
