Hi I got the woodrow wilson research fellowship at johns hopkins but I also got into Duke. I was wondering if anyone has any input on where I should go. I am aiming for med school btw and I’m really into medical research. Here are my thoughts:

PRO JHU:
- Great academics and research
- Woodrow Wilson Research Fellowship (only 20-30 ppl get it each year)

CON:
- Grade deflation, maybe cutthroat, and worse GPA for med school
- Less free time, school spirit

PRO DUKE:
- Fun and engaging place to be
- I like the atmosphere better than JHU

CON:
- No WW Fellowship

Please help me. I want the best chance to get into med school. I love research and WW fellowship is perfect for me, but I like Duke better.

Could there be any clearer dilemma between Academics and Quality of Life?

Note: I realize I am posting in the duke forum, but still.
