Duke–10K to pay
Wash U–10K to pay, Summer Scholar (free bio research before freshman year)</p>
<p>Are Duke and Wash U worth the premium over Emory? Out of Duke and Wash U, which one would be better? Does name recognition really mean anything?</p>
<p>A free ride is hard to pass up - but - I would say Duke and WashU are both worth the prestige over Emory for Undergrad. Duke has the advantage for pre-med of having the hospital next to the undergrad campus, not so for WashU (it’s not far away, but some transportation is required).
