<p>GM101: from previous posts, it seems that you’ve already been accepted no? Did you matriculate? Others have already told you “Who gives a flip what others think of Duke” and that it’s a wonderful school. Yet you seem to want confirmation from nameless, faceless CC people to give you confidence? Very strange.</p>
<p>Duke is one of the most selective and renown American universities. Anyone receiving an offer of admission from there should be rightly proud. The campus is beautiful (especially when my friends and I would road trip down there from New England every March to visit friends).</p>
<p>Please resist seeking “it’ll be all right” posts – if you’re a graduating HS senior, leave CC for about 20 years until your own kids start the college search journey. Enjoy your summer, and look fwd to Durham in the Fall. You’re very fortunate. Best of luck to you.</p>
