<p>Now that there is about 2 months left till the AP exam I was planning to begin studying the AMSCO for us history on my own. I just want to know how long does it take to get through the whole book efficiently since my class is behind.</p>

<p>It depends on the kind of student you are. If you can read something once and make it stick, then you could actually wait about two more weeks, though I wouldn’t recommend it. If you need to read things carefully and/or more than once, you should probably crack that book open soon. Either way though, it’s best to start ASAP.</p>
<p>I crammed that sucker around three weeks before the test because I hadn’t discovered its existence until around a month before the exam (and I got a 4 :D). Even if you’re a slow reader (like I am), if you’ve been paying attention in class half of the time it’ll go by quickly because most of it will just be review. So yeah, I definitely would suggest you to get it and read through it twice.</p>
