DVD and CD selling places

Do you guys know where I can buy DVD movies, CDs, etc in South side?

Amoeba and Rasputin’s?

How can you live in Berkeley and not know of Amoeba and Rasputin?

^
maybe he doesn’t live on south side…? i live on south side i dont know anything on north side

Amoeba and Rasputin are the Bay Area’s best known independent CD/DVD retailers. It’s not like they’re obscure.

There’s also a Blockbuster on Shattuck (uh… yeah) and a couple other stores spotted around, but those two are your best bets.

That’s because there isn’t anything to know north-side (aside from Euclid). That is assuming you don’t incorporate Shattuck and the Gourmet ghetto into “north-side.”

Not hearing about Amoeba and Rasputin is quite a surprise. I wonder why the OP didn’t do a simple google search. Google map search “Berkeley music store” and Rasputin and Amoeba turn up in the first 5 results.

Next time you can use also use Yelp.com to find a store, restaurant, or service.

maybe he’s from socal. im from socal…i didn’t know about rasputin till i came to berkeley = =

Staff in Rasputin’s has some kind of hallucination that everyone in the store is going to jack their ****s, especially if you are not white or don’t look indie.
