E190 Technical Communication Requirement?

<p>Does anyone know if E190 is still required for EECS majors? I don’t see it showing up on schedule of classes? I am going to be a senior next year and thought this class was required.</p>

<p>You don’t have to take it anymore.</p>

<p>Special Notice Re: E190 Tech Com</p>

<pre><code>* As of summer 2010, E190 is no longer required for EECS students.

  • They must still take a total of 45 units of engineering courses, including at least 20 units of upper division EECS courses. The 45 units of engineering courses cannot include: any course taken on a P/NP basis; courses numbered 24, 39, 84; BioE 100; CS 194, 195, C195; E 100, C111, 140, 191, 193, 196; EE 194; IEOR 172, 190 series.
