<p>Not be a downer because I think you have a fantastic shot of getting in and and a better shot than most at Honors, but I really wouldn’t count on the pres scholarship. The people they give pres scholarships to are people that are pretty much HYP-bound, and BC tries to snag them with not only Honors status, but also free tuition and other perks. I have an old friend who got a pres scholarship this year. 2400 SAT, valedictorian at arguably the most prestigious high school in New York City, nationally ranked debater, etc. He’s going to Harvard. I would still go ahead and apply as to not regret it later, but I would not worry about getting the pres scholarship.</p>
