<p><em>I’ve got a blemish on my record… I’ve been suspended for one day
because of misunderstanding between me and the teacher…
She thought I cheated during the test… well I and my counselor
talked about it and explained it well in the letter… that there was
a misunderstanding and I learned from it…</em></p>

<p>I’m feeling hopeless because of this blemish… feel like I’m gonna
get rejected to every college I apply to…
Any comment on my chance to Uchicago? will this blemish hold me back?</p>

<p>Of course, SoulinNeed is kidding. As long as your essays are good you have an excellent chance, that one incident should not affect you. Your counselor’s explanation will be accepted.</p>

<p>Chicago is a safety for you. 35 ACT + 2 800 SATII’s? Unless, of course, you’re applying for financial aid, in which case, as an int’l applicant, you’re screwed. But otherwise, write good essays and you’re in.</p>
