I propose that we create a list to call Stanford for admissions decisions. Everyone picks a date (copy-paste the list), calls Stanford, asks if the decisions are available by phone, and reports back (put a yes or no next to your name).

To quote Vaish88, “sign up for whatever day works. Just don’t sign up and then not call.”

Wait, forgive me if I’m wrong, but isn’t it not possible to call on December 4-5, 11-12, and 18-19 because those are on the weekend and the admissions office is only open (and answers calls) Monday-Friday?

Is there no way you could call when you’re out of the country? Or leave a friend the keys to your house so they can at least find out, then call you and tell you? Or have them E-mail you and you can check your E-mail on your computer when you get to wherever you’re going (India?)? I’m sure they tell people on the 17th or 18th… and like people have said, even if you do call and they say, “GRRRRRRR NO TELEPHONE!!!” it’s not like it’ll affect your decision.

And if you can’t do any of that, then I hope you have a good trip despite worrying about it…
