EA Question, Thank you

Hi I was accepted EA at the college of A&S. I was really interested in being part of Boston College’s Honors program. Were you supposed to be notified of this opportunity in your acceptance package? Or do they screen through and extend invitations later?

If I happen not to have made it, what was the cutoff for it like this year?

Also, does the fact that I’m a pre-med have anything to do with this? It seems that the Honors program has a lot to do with philosophy/literature/history…

Thanks

You were supposed to be notified in your acceptance letter.

The cut off rarely varies that much, the top 5% are usually offered.

HP has a lot of pre-med students. Few survived for long because of the demanding curriculum from both sides.

meh i’m bummed then

sorry yeah, the folder says ‘welcome to the honors program’ on it.
but i remember reading that you can enter it as a sophomore. i assume it’s based on grades and teacher recs.

yeah it’s by invitation.
